Last Updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Omninome Inc. ("Omninome", "Company", "we", "us") and you ("Customer", "User", "Client"). By ordering a test, accessing omninome.com, or utilizing our portal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Services

Omninome provides comprehensive clinical genetics and bioinformatics services, including:

  1. Whole Exome Sequencing (WES): Next-generation sequencing of protein-coding genomic regions and clinical interpretation across 3,600+ actionable disease genes.
  2. Clinical Pharmacogenomics (PGx): Assessment of ADME gene variants (e.g. CYP2D6, CYP2C19, SLCO1B1) and medication guidance aligned with CPIC, DPWG, and FDA standards.
  3. Digital Genomic Re-Interpretation: Automated Quality Control and clinical curation of pre-existing raw genetic data (VCF, FASTQ, BAM, or consumer microarray exports from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage).
  4. Metagenomic Gut Microbiome Profiling: Nanopore metagenomic analysis and bacterial diversity scoring.
  5. Pre-Conception Carrier Screening: Comprehensive screening for severe recessive and X-linked genetic disorders.
  6. Hereditary Cancer Risk Prevention: Dual NGS + CMA screening for 50+ high-penetrance cancer syndromes.

2. Medical Disclaimer & Educational Purpose

  1. Not Direct Medical Care: Omninome reports provide genetic risk stratification and decision support. They do not constitute an independent medical prescription or a definitive clinical diagnosis.
  2. Medication Adjustments: Customers must never modify, discontinue, or initiate any prescription drug therapy based on pharmacogenomic reports without direct consultation and approval from their treating physician or licensed healthcare provider.
  3. Genetic Limitations: Genetic tests detect known variants within the targeted scope. Negative or non-carrier findings do not guarantee the total absence of disease risk or the absence of rare untested pathogenic variants.

3. Order Process, Kits & Digital Uploads

  1. Physical Kits: Upon order completion, Omninome delivers a sterile specimen collection kit to the shipping address provided. The Customer agrees to collect the sample in accordance with the provided protocol and return it via the prepaid return packaging.
  2. Raw Data Uploads: For digital re-interpretation, the Customer affirms that uploaded files belong to them or to an individual for whom they possess legal guardianship or authorized medical representation.
  3. Turnaround Times: Stated turnaround times (e.g. 10–14 days for raw data; 4–6 weeks for physical sequencing) are clinical estimates subject to sample quality verification and re-sequencing protocols if DNA yield is insufficient.

4. Pricing, Payments & Refunds

  1. Pricing: All prices on omninome.com are listed in USD ($) and include standard laboratory processing and digital portal delivery.
  2. Payments: Payments are charged at checkout via secure credit card or authorized payment gateways.
  3. Cancellations & Refunds:
    • For physical kit orders, cancellations requested prior to sample processing in the laboratory are eligible for a refund minus shipping and kit handling costs ($50). Once laboratory DNA extraction has begun, fees are non-refundable.
    • For digital re-interpretation orders, pre-payment Quality Control (QC) is complimentary. Once data processing has commenced and reports have been generated, digital orders are non-refundable.

5. Privacy, Pseudonymization & Security

All biological specimens, genomic sequences, and personal health details are governed by the Omninome Privacy Policy and Informed Consent. Specimens and data are pseudonymized using secure barcodes. Omninome will never sell customer data to insurance providers or commercial third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

The website, brand, proprietary bioinformatics algorithms, portal interface, and interpretive report formatting are the exclusive intellectual property of Omninome Inc. Customers retain full ownership and rights over their underlying personal raw DNA data files.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or within the courts of Wyoming.
